Jornada 690 (US English option) Enhanced English Keyboard driver for HP Jornada 690 Handheld Type: Driver This is the HP Enhanced Keyboard driver for Jornada 690 US English option (for North America,­ Singapore,­ Hong Kong,­ Malaysia,­ UK,­ Australia,­ New Zealand).­ The driver will fix a minor bug that disables the Caps Lock after pressing the Fn key.­ To install: 1.­ Download the 690KBDRE.­EXE to a temporary directory in your desktop PC.­ 2.­ Double click on 690KBDRE.­EXE to obtain the driver patch KEYBDDR.­DLL and README.­TXT.­ Read README.­TXT before installation.­ 3.­ Connect the Jornada to the desktop PC using Windows CE Services or ActiveSync.­ 4.­ Copy the driver KEYBDDR.­DLL to "Windows" folder on the mobile device.­ 5.­ A "Confirm File Replace" window will prompt if you want to replace the existing file.­ Select "Yes".­ 6.­ Disconnect the device from the desktop PC.­ 7.­ Perform a soft reset on the Jornada by pressing the reset button.­ Note: You will need to re-install it again if a hard reset is performed on the device.­
